Visitors can uncover the magical story of the British motor industry with new and exciting exhibitions in the museum supported by a Heritage Lottery Fund grant.

Making British Cars- our new exhibition where visitors can travel through the history of the motor industry.  Experience the contrasting lifestyles of those who lived and worked through the decades from the 1890's when British cars design was in it's infancy to the modern day.

Under The Skin- an exhibiton where vistors can unravel the mystery of how cars work from the early days of the motor car to technology for the future.  A hands-on experience on how cars have progressed through the years transforming their bumpy suspension and challenging steering into more sophisticated and sleek designs of today.

Life's Highway-  Featuring the Nick Baldwin Collection, this social history exhibition explores the roles of public and private transport at different stages of our lives.  This exhibition includes a 1920's double decker bus and a luxury caravan from 1935 as well as a variety of wonderfully evocative images and fun interactives.

Icons of the Motor Industry-  this new gallery celebrates the pioneering figures that designed some of the most important British cars to date and illustrates how they chanelled their imagination and flair into car design.
