Fir Tree Cottage is in the middle of three at the end of a private drive with designated parking for two cars.  Tucked away in a quiet location with an enclosed garden and patio, it is perfect for those looking for a peaceful get-away retreat.

Fir Tree Cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard to give our guests present day comforts whilst retaining original features such as exposed beams and Cotswold stonework.

There are two bedrooms - one double, one twin bedded - both carpeted, comfortably furnished and well equipped.  The furniture throughout conforms to the current fire regulations.

Living/Dining Room

An enclosed porch leads into a spacious, newly furbished sitting/dining room.  Original exposed beams add wonderful character to this room.  A G-plan 3 piece suite with recliner armchairs and a superb Hunter log and coal burner set into the Cotswold stone fireplace make this room a treat to return to after a busy day.  The fire can also heat radiators in every room.  In addition, there are night storage heaters.

Facilities include colour TV, Video/DVD, Hi-fi system, CD's, DVD's, videos, tapes, books, magazines, brochures of local area and games.

Kitchen

The newly fitted Shaker style kitchen is very well equipped with full-sized oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle and washing machine with plenty of cooking, eating and drinking utensils.  It affords open views onto the garden and fields beyond.

An open staircase leads to a landing with a large airing cupboard.

Bedroom 1

Large double bedroom with a comfortable bed with duvet, 4 pillows and 2 large wardrobes, table and chair, 2 bedside tables, lamps, hair drier, iron and ironing board.

Bedroom 2

2 single beds - posture sprung each with duvet and 2 pillows, table, chair, reading lamp.

Bathroom

New luxury tiled bathroom with full sized bath, shower, wash basin, toilet and slate- tiled non-slip floor.

The rear garden is private and securely fenced with beautiful views over open countryside.  There is a table and chairs for 4 from where you can enjoy the many flowers and shrubs throughout the season.
